Just a note Alice, to tell you we are still telling all our friends about you and your hotel and our unique experience. We are the couple you "rescued" in the airport in Amsterdam. We had missed our cruise ship in Rome due to flight delays and decided our best option was to catch up with them in Livorno (Florence). We had no idea what a wonderful stroke of luck we had in meeting you and your friends at the Meridiana Airline gate. Your kind hospitality in making a studio room available to us and arranging a driver for us to Livorna next day is an amazing story we will tell for years to come. But the best part of it all was when we arrived at Riva Lofts. What a wonderful gem to find - we wished we could have stayed a few more days and hopefully we will return some day soon. We have many friends in our travel group and we will definitely speak highly of Riva Lofts and you. Thank you so much for turning a disaster into a wonderful adventursome experience. My Dear Eleanor and Alice I am writing to you from the deck of the beautiful Saratoga Hotel in La Ciudad Habana the last stop of our holiday before our return to Grand Cayman today. Still though, the memory of our stay in Florence in your stylish, superb and incomparable establishment lingers. More so though, is the tremendous guidance you gave me particularly in relation to experience La Firenze Verita. This tips were the icing on the cake and made our stay memorable. I will do my utmost to spread the word about RivaLofts and about the excellent service and hospitality which we were privileged to have experienced. Thank you very much and please stay in touch. Alice and team, a quick note to say what a wonderful time my family and I had in your gorgeous hotel. Loved every nook and cranny, especially the dining room, the kids had so much fun running around in the grounds, and we particularly enjoyed a picnic we made up one Saturday night in the grounds by the pool at twilight, sipping very nice Tuscan red wine and eating the very best of prosciutto and cheese....what better way to spend a Tuscan holiday. Your advice was extremely helpful and the location of the hotel was perfect for that morning walk. Definitely will return on my next trip to FLorence.

Good morning ladies, Just a quick note to thank you all for a wonderful stay at Riva Lofts. My favourite part of our Honeymoon in Italy by far. We were made to feel so welcome and really did not want to leave. We had a nice stay at Leons place in Rome and DuoMo in Rimini. Hi Alice, Maria Novella, Elena! This is a very late email but I wanted to thank you for such a wonderful stay at Riva Lofts. My mum and I loved it! Thanks also for helping out with the doctor, extra room, restaurant recommendations (brilliant - can't remember right now what that restaurant was called but LOVED it!) and the lift to the restaurant too, Maria Novella. Maria Novella, I also wanted to ask you again about that area by the beach that you said was quite unspoiled and not really tourist-y, Maremma? I am looking for accommodation for my family during/over July/August and it sounded great. Very very best wishes, and can't wait to visit again (I'll bring my gorgeous 3 girls and husband next time!). Natalie

I was, and still am if you change your mind, happy to pay for that night, it is exceedingly generous of you.
